Doctor :
are you on any medications for the pain? was any physiotherapy prescribed to relieve the symptoms?
User :   no and no
Doctor :   ok
User :   what could cause this?
Doctor :
there could have been a spinal or vertebral disc related problem when you turned which precipitated the pain and the further symptomssymptoms
Doctor :
what you need now would be an MRI to see what exactly has gone wrong with the lower back spine
User :   also when i do exercises like sit-ups there is a clicking and it feels like it is popping in and out of place
Doctor :
and also to see if the bumps are vascular, tissue or bone in origin
Doctor :
ok
Doctor :
avoid doing any activity now that increase the pain or discomfort
Doctor :
discuss the possibility of doing further investigations to rule out the above said possibilities.
Doctor :   and to get into definitive line of treatment for the problem as revealed through the investigations.
User :   ok. so do you beleive that it is just a disc problem?
Doctor :
i cannot say for sure that the problem is disc related, i can only suggest the probabilities, since I am not examining you personally.
Doctor :
the MRI scan will throw more light on arriving at a definitive diagnosis
Doctor :   have you followed what i have said?
User :   yes
Doctor :
Is there any thing else I can help you with?
User :   i also shake a lot...could this be caused by the back problem?
User :   my hands are shaking all the time
Doctor :
I am sorry, could you please explain. Please describe in detail what symptoms you are having.
Doctor :
ok
Doctor :
hands shaking will generally not cause problem to lower back spiune.
User :   but could the spine be causing the shaking they started around the same time
Doctor :
if the activities involve shaking and whiplash like movements in spine, then it might lead to low back pain radiating down to buttocks.
Doctor :
how are the sensation in hands? are they same as before or have you noticed any changes?
User :   same as before just the shaking
Doctor :
ok
Doctor :
they might not be related, but the possibiliies cannot be ruled out. you will require an examination that will involve the entire spine examination
User :   ok
Doctor :
and any possibilities of cervical and upper back spine related problem
Doctor :
that could have started at the time of the incident
Doctor :
and would have affected these spinal areas also.
User :   ok
Doctor :   and based on the examination and the MRI findings, we can conclude if the shaking of hands and the lower back spine are related
Doctor :
have you followed what i have said?
