User :   i am having lower back pain since yesterday

User :   perhaps due to the sudden weight lifts which i did
User :   i get the pain only when i get up or try to sit down

User :   i am planning to consult an orthopaedic today
User :   i am 25, 75 kgs, 6'1

User :   not pain killers, but yes used a liquid based pain killer ( i think nilgiris)

Doctor :   While rubbing any oil or ointment over the area do not rub vigoursly

Doctor :   Apply hot water bag to the area of pain.

Doctor :   use a firm mattress for sleeping which gives a good support to your back.
