User :   question 4 wks ago my platlet count went down to 0000 week later back up to 0000, two weeks later 0000 today it was 0000 should i be concerned as to why this variation is occuring and if so what should i do

User :   no the week before it went to 95k i had a virai infection in my throat

User :   only unusual thing last week or two has been mild head aches from time to tiem but nothing else different that always

User :   i see so the renal disease can be causing the platelet issue like it is causing the anemia
Doctor :   it causes low iron so anemia
User :   right but would that have anything to do with the platlet levels
Doctor :   it can reduce the platelet levels
User :   my platlets have beenok when my hemoglogbin has been in the nines

User :   ok so you wouold no pursure to see if it is anything bad like bone marrow diseas of sometype

User :   so you dont think it is anything serious like a disease of the bone marrow like leukemia or something

Doctor :   but u can keep on monitoring your

Doctor :   if it further continues to drop then u can consider the other investigations
User :   i see so the drop from 140's to the low 100's is nothing to worry about at this time
