User :   I have been going through some major stress in my personal life. I feel totally drained out and exhausted due to that
User :   i had got it checked with a doctor
User :   the first time when i had went to him he checked my BP and it was on a higher side
User :   for which he suggested nebicard 2.5, also my colestrol level has gone up

User :   yes
User :   and sometimes i get some kind of panic palm gets sweaty and palpitations

Doctor :   High B.P and high cholesterol can be a cause for increase tiredness and fatique
User :   should i get a complete medical check up done once again

User :   yes doc

User :   when i checked last time which was around 2-3 mths back my BP was normal, but triglycerides were high on cpunt

User :   I did'nt have any medical history before 7 mths..all these things started 6-7 mths back...i am having high stress level due to personal issues

User :   my family does not have history of hypertension or high cholesterol..but my mom and dad have diabetes
User :   before my personal issue started i did use to get nervousness but it aggravated in last 6-7 mths

User :   no...have never visisted the doc before...i went to the doc only 6-7 mths back

User :   the tablets which doc had given i took it and it gave me some releif...but my worry is i don't want to get addicted to it
User :   i don't exactly remember it i think it was 120/80

User :   no...thyroid related issues

Doctor :   Since, I am not sure of your blood pressure, I cannot predict if you are really have hypertension.
Doctor :   As suggested earlier, stress and anxiety can transiently raise blood pressure, but the physiology of the body is such that
Doctor :   any rise in blood pressure is brought down to normal levels in some time, once your stress levels are reduced.
Doctor :   Antihypertensive medications are indicated if blood pressure values are persistently high.
Doctor :   Hence, I would suggest you to recheck your blood pressure early in the morning for the next 3 days.
Doctor :   If all the values are high, you may need to continue the blood pressure medications.
Doctor :   If the values are under normal limits, then report back to your doctor to reconsider the use of anti hypertensive medications.
Doctor :   Apart from this and regular cholesterol level check ups, you will also need to check blood sugar and thyroid function tests.
Doctor :   These are the few medical conditions which can be responsible for your anxiety, high blood pressure and cholesterol levels.
Doctor :   If all these are under normal limits, then its probably psychological problems.

Doctor :   Psychological problems are treated by combination of medical drugs and
Doctor :   life style modifications.
User :   what are the pointers which indicate if a person is going thru depression

Doctor :   Symptoms such as low energy levels, easy tiredness, reduced appetite, reduced interest in daily activities, weight changes.

Doctor :   1. Adequate sleep - Regular 6-8 hours of uninterrupted sleep is absolutely necessary.
Doctor :   If you are constantly waking up from your sleep, due to difficulties in breathing, it can be sleep apnea syndrome.
Doctor :   That also needs evaluation.
User :   i am getting sound sleep

Doctor :   continue with the same, you need to sleep for 6-8 hours and be regular with it.
Doctor :   2. Good and adequate nutrition - include a balanced diet containing just the required calories with plenty of vegetable and fruits.
Doctor :   3. Physical exercises - early morning brisk walks, yoga, meditations.
Doctor :   Practise any of the above and be regular with them.
Doctor :   4. Drink enough liquids- SInce 90% of body content is water, lack of water and dehydration grossly affects body functions resulting in easy tiredness and low energy.
Doctor :   Its necessary that you drink adequate amount of water.
Doctor :   Atleast 8 glass of water is absolutely necessary.

Doctor :   5. Occupational problems- Since most of your time is spent in work,
Doctor :   keeping your working atmosphere good is important.
Doctor :   enjoy your work as much as you can.
Doctor :   avoid over working when ever possible.
Doctor :   Take breaks if possible.
Doctor :   Since, I wouldn't understand properly about your working experience, you can modify as necessarily\

Doctor :   Practise deep breathing exercises, such as counting breathes, inhaling deeply, holding breathe and slowly exhaling.
Doctor :   This exercise will help reducing the pounding heart.

User :   the major problem i am facing are these panic attacks....i feel i am getting choked and there is some kind of helplesness

User :   it aggravates when my stress levels are high and shows very prominently
Doctor :   Yes, since stress; nutritional factors and sun exposure are the cause, stress changes can induce the dark circles.
Doctor :   Sleep regularly, management of stress adequately, improved nutrition containing plenty of vegetable and fruits will prevent these from happening.
Doctor :   You can use skin lightening products such as skin bright cream
Doctor :   or any of the garnier products, or mederma cream.
Doctor :   Avoid using the cream close to the eyes
Doctor :   They can induce burning eyes and can harm your eyes.
