Doctor :   hi
Doctor :   DR XXXXX
Doctor :   let me read your query
User :   Hi. Can you please tell me why I am getting some pain in my left leg?
Doctor :   The most probable cause is posture related stress'
Doctor :   You should start practising posture ergonomics
User :   what is that .. Is it some serious problem
Doctor :   No
Doctor :   how frquent do you relax from the table
User :   Actually I want to clarify that I am getting pain in my left leg due to lot of walking while my righth leg is polio affected
Doctor :   ok
User :   It started just from few days back
Doctor :   Its obvoius there is strain in the normal leg during walking
Doctor :   Did you take some painkillers for it
User :   So How can I overcome this
User :   no never
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   so you can take some painkillers now
User :   When I come back to home and relax for some time its not coming
Doctor :   and also try taking rest with foot elevated
Doctor :   and try apllying crape bandage it will sure provide some relief
User :   but again next day if I start walking then till end of the day it it again starts
Doctor :   Do you smoke?
User :   no
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   The most possible cause is due to blood stasi
Doctor :   *stasis
User :   what is crape bandage and blood stasis
Doctor :   Which is a result of strain
Doctor :   Crape bandage should help you
Doctor :   Painkillers you can take are Brufen twice daily for 3 days
Doctor :   Crape bandage is the tight netted bandage applied over region of pain to improve blood circulation
Doctor :   It more like roll over bandage easily availble in medical storesd
Doctor :   Did you involve in any heavy physical exercise recently
Doctor :   Sometimes the smallest adjustment to your desk environment can make a huge difference to your computer posture and consequently your level of comfort. Not only does finding the best sitting position relieve your aches and pains, it makes you more productive.
User :   But is it not due to walking and it started from now onwards only earlier I use to walk a lot and play as well but it sems that if I stand for a long time on my leg then the left leg which is not polio affected will start paining again
Doctor :   Its common for pain associted with standing as ther considerable amount of strain to normal leg
User :   its like usual ..not heavy reccently but I am doing some exercise now a days but not related to lags
Doctor :   Due to abnormal weight distribution
Doctor :   ok
User :   ya right thats what I was thinking So my doubt is weather I will be able to over come this pain in some point of time or it will remain like this
Doctor :   Yes you can
User :   I also dont use callipers as I am able to walk and work well w/t it
Doctor :   Do some simple adjustment
User :   like?
Doctor :   Is your shoes height adjusted to equal height
User :   No they are not
Doctor :   That should be the first step
User :   ohk
Doctor :   Because that will favour equal weight distribution
Doctor :   And will releive stress on the normal leg
User :   ok
Doctor :   And also follow suggested tips
Doctor :   Like try slleping with a pillow benath the affected limb with crape bandage
Doctor :   * sleeping
User :   where can I get this crape bandage?
User :   and how much it will cost
Doctor :   IN all medical stores
User :   ok
Doctor :   IT will cost 100 rupees max
User :   ohk
Doctor :   There is clip with that you have to tightly rool over and clip it
Doctor :   That will help you out
Doctor :   provides good releif
Doctor :   Is there anything else i can help you with?
User :   Ok my worry was that weather my pain will not be permanent and I can walk after some measures?
User :   w/t pain
Doctor :   No dont worry it more due to posture related
