User :   I have been having pain off and on. It's mainly located on my left side between my ribs and my hip bone. What could that be?

Doctor :   could you describe the pain in detail?
User :   well, it's not unbearable. rather an achy? pain
User :   i don't know what caused it or what caused it to disappear
Doctor :   does the pain radiate to back or upper stomach?
Doctor :   when is the pain worse?
User :   not to upper stomach. i have pain in my lower back at the same time. it's worse when i walk i think
Doctor :   do you have pain or discomfort during micturition?
User :   and that is??
Doctor :   is there burning sensation while passing urine?
User :   no
Doctor :   do you have nausea associated?
Doctor :   left flank pain could be related to kidney
Doctor :   and should be further investigated with urine test and renal scan
