User :   sir, r u a child psychiatrist, sorry for asking this but i am new to this site

User :   Actually my brother who is 8 years old is having a learning disability, right from UKG his teachers r complaining that he is not attentive in class and not even finishes his class works

User :   teachers say that he is very quiet in class, but he is very active in home and always be a talking something or other, and while doing home work one should sit in front of him, otherwise he will be thinking something else, in other things like sports etc he is active, and he is very thin

User :   very low, actually he will take long time to write

User :   he is naughty in home but he is very obedient in school it seems, about subject he feels easy in languages like hindi and kannada

Doctor :   and try to explain the subjects like

Doctor :   teach him abacus and other puzzles
User :   I do explain doctor,but he takes very long time to finish his homework, he will take 3 to 4 hours to finish homeworks
Doctor :   if he tries to be naughty just be firm but never lose your temper
Doctor :   some children have their own way of learning
Doctor :   they learn slowly
Doctor :   if we are patient with them for sometime
Doctor :   they can slowly pick up

Doctor :   make him play sports and games too

User :   now a days he is eating well, but my mother gives him more junk foods

Doctor :   that he needs good nutritious food
Doctor :   for his academics to improve
Doctor :   junk leads to childhood obesity and other associated problems
Doctor :   if he does not show any improvement in a month or so
Doctor :   you can consult a child psychiatrist
