User :   My cycle has been the same for a while now, I usually start my period on the 28th of each month. This month I started 10 early and it is unusually heavy and it's full of large clots. Is this normal?

Doctor :   Have you been ever diagnosed with any Uterine or Ovarian problems.
User :   no
Doctor :   Have you been on any contraceptive medication ?

Doctor :   How are your thyroid levels ?
User :   my tubes are tied and i'm in a monogamous relationship
Doctor :   Any prior problem with T3,T4 levels?
User :   they are fine

User :   what is t3 and t4
Doctor :   Thyroid hormonal levels.
User :   ok well i don't have a problem with thyroids. i just had a physical about 3 months ago

Doctor :   And you also have been performed upon a small surgery like procedure for your fallopian tubes for prevention of unwanted pregnancy ?
Doctor :   So no chance of an ectopic or incomplete or missed abortion.
User :   yes. a small incision in my belly button and another just above the hair line of my pubic area
User :   well my partner and I don't use protection

Doctor :   I would have to tell you that the differential diagnosis is as follows after ruling out other possibilities : Doctor :   1. May be a ovarian dysfunction sometimes results in excess bleeding which needs no worry.
Doctor :   2. An Endometrial polyp, but would have been diagnosed if you have undergone an Ultrasound done in your physical for your abdomen.
Doctor :   3.If you have any coagulation defects.
Doctor :   4. A simple endometriosis
Doctor :   5. Or if you have been having any other drugs.
Doctor :   Can you identify any of these to your present problem ?
User :   i take aldactone for acne and that's it
Doctor :   Ok, That would have no adverse affects
User :   do menstrual cycles just change over time?
