Doctor :   Hi,
Doctor :   Dr xxx here
User :   hello im a 23 year old male from xxxxxx
Doctor :   please proceed with your query
User :   I went to the emergency room about 5 days ago because i was experiencing alot of dizziness
Doctor :   ok,
User :   doctor checked my ears and said i had a lot of fluid in one of them and said i have Labyrinthitis
User :   i've been taking Augmentin 2x a day and Meclizine as needed
Doctor :   ok,
User :   I feel like my diziness has gotten a bit better but i've been getting these sudden headaches which concern me
User :   my headaches will mostly be in the forehead but sometimes it'll be in different parts of my head
User :   can you help me
Doctor :   yes, what other medicines are you on ?
User :   I take sudafed sometimes
Doctor :   May i know the dose ?
User :   take about 1 tablet 3x a day they are 10mg each
Doctor :   ok,
Doctor :   the headache is due to the sinus involvement which has interconnections with the labyrinth
Doctor :   i suggest you to take NASIVION nasal drops about 6 to 8 drops into each nostril three times a day along with sudafed
User :   yes I'm going to buy that tomorrow, but what concerns me is that I'll sometimes be fine then when i start walking about thats when it starts hurting more
Doctor :   yes, the sinus headache is a positional headache
User :   how come my headache ill change areas? sometimes the front sometimes one side or the back
Doctor :   there are four group of sinuses in the skull , two in the forehead reagon
Doctor :   two in the maxillar region and three in the deeper part of the skull
Doctor :   when the fluid in these sinuses ( empty spaces in normal) shifts on movement of the head the pain becomes positional
User :   finally someone explains this to me thank you, because i noticed today in college i was doing alot of walking then the dizziness started not too bad but it was there then the headaches then when i got to class most subsided
Doctor :   Also take tab IBUPROFEN SOS to bring the pain down
User :   i cant take ibuprofen it affects my stomach too much
Doctor :   yes, give rest to the head ache it will temporarily relieve of the pain and dizziness too
Doctor :   Then take Tab DICLO 50mg instead of Ibuprofen
User :   what could have caused this labyrinthitis?
Doctor :   Bacterial infection of the labrynth, the mode of infection is through inhalation of contaminated air
Doctor :   there are interconnections with the nasal cavity to labrynth and sinuses
User :   2 weeks ago i started getting a mild pain in my left neck right by my throat
Doctor :   yes, that could be the tract of the infection
User :   i still sometimes get this pain though i dont know what it is
Doctor :   its the same infection , need not worry the antibiotic will take care of it
Doctor :   you are on good medicines
Doctor :   just you have to give them time
Doctor :   And take worm foods only
User :   i was given 10 days worth of augmentin is that ok?
User :   worm foods?
Doctor :   yes,
Doctor :   I am sorry , i meant warm foods
User :   oh ok haha really? why is that?
Doctor :   the cold foods will cause vasoconstriction in the mucosa of the nasal cavity which will hinder the healing
User :   hmmm interesting
Doctor :   Is there anything i can help you with ?
User :   when can i go back to working out at gym?
Doctor :   you can go with it now
Doctor :   no contraindication
User :   really? even with dizziness
Doctor :   if its not more
User :   well i still get dizzy sometimes and i figure my head would hurt too seeing as it hurts when i walk alot
Doctor :   then take time to get into work up
User :   im going to give it one more day and start heading back
Doctor :   ok, thats fine
User :   thank you sir you've been very helpful
