User :   hello sir
Doctor :   hi
Doctor :
ok
Doctor :
has any investigations done for these symptoms?
User :   sir my wife age is 33 and one day she got her right leg pain
User :   i mean joint pain and she could not move it
User :   i went to ortho doctor and said he dont feel any thing bad and he told it may be chicken gunya
User :   and next day she got whole body pain and fever is not high itts only 100 degrees
Doctor :
is she on any medications?
User :   and after 2 weeks she got all joints pains like knees, hand , i mean wrist sir
Doctor :   ok
User :   she was given pain killer injections on that day and they gave combi flam
User :   since 1 months she tells, her right hand wrist is paining and right hand thumb finger is getting numbness
Doctor :
ok
User :   and left hand wrist pain is little paining and not severe like right hand
Doctor :
was any blood tests done for her?
User :   i showed again to doctor., and he conducted blood test for rhemetoid factor like that
Doctor :
was any imaging like x-ray done for the affected joints?
User :   and blood test is also negative
Doctor :   ok what were the results?
User :   all results are good sir
Doctor :
ok
User :   they found nothing, but her wrist is constantly paining
Doctor :
ok
User :   if she does work and sleeps , aand at mornng 3 thirty she gets awake due to pain
User :   and from morning slowly pains reduces till noon and she again works as pain reduces
Doctor :
what i suggest to do now is to take x-rays of her wrist by tequesting her treating doctor
Doctor :
and see if there are rheumatoid or arthritic changes
User :   ok
User :   rheumatoid blood test was conducted and it is negative sir
Doctor :
there is something called as 'sero negative rheumatoid arthritis' in which the RA factor test comes as negative
Doctor :
the diagnosis is done by x-ray and MRI by looking at any changes in the joints
User :   sir, is chicken gunya also causes this type of pain sir
User :   hello sir
Doctor :
chicken gunya can cause joint pains
Doctor :
but it is generally a generalised pain, and not located to one joint
Doctor :
so what i suggest is to take x-rays of her wrist by requesting her treating doctor
Doctor :   to rule out 'sero negative rheumatoid arthritis'
Doctor :
have you followed what i have said?
Doctor :
are you there?
Doctor :

User :   SIR
User :   YES SIR
Doctor :   have you followed what i have said?
User :   YES SIR
User :   BUT LIKE WISE LEFT WRIST ALSO HAS LITTLE PAIN LIKE THE SAME WAY BUT MANAGEABLE PAIN
Doctor :   ok
User :   sir , is there any test to confirm that is is only because of chicken gunya
User :   sir r u there
Doctor :
Yes, as I am chatting with some patients simultaneously. Please bear with us for a reply
User :   ok
Doctor :   no, it cannot be said that it is only due to chicken gunya
User :   then why both wrist only sir, one more pain and another left hand little
Doctor :   she needs further tests to confirm the diagnosis
Doctor :
'sero negative rheumatoid arthritis' which can present in such ways
User :   i mean, x ray, mri like that sir, and if they see some thing wrong and whats the treatment
Doctor :
it will depend on the changes seen
Doctor :
and the treatment will folow accordingly
User :   if she dont work for two to three days she says pai n is less
User :   tell me some home remedies and painkillers to reduce pain also sir
User :   she says voveran and combiflam also not reducing pain
Doctor :
what medications is she taking already?
Doctor :
ok
User :   voveran for pain killer, and combi flam
User :   only when she wake up in the morning the pain is heavy sir
Doctor :
ok
Doctor :
as the day goes on, is the pain reduced?
User :   yes sir, once she moves from bed slowly reduces but not zero level, but she manages
Doctor :
ok
Doctor :
she does seem to have symptoms of arthritis..and x-ray or MRI will help to confirm
Doctor :
so please discuss with her doctor the possibility of doing these tests
User :   if it is arthritis, can it be treated with medicines
Doctor :
it can be controlled with medicines and diet
Doctor :
and physiotherapy
Doctor :
Is there any thing else I can help you with?
Doctor :   are you there?
Doctor :   I have to close the window as you are not responding. Please chat with our doctors 24/7 for medical queries.
