its regarding my bone problem my joint crack multiple times a day and i have soft tissue pains around my knees. I am 31 and its now worring me a lot whether i would be able to recover or not
no i had consulted orthopedician last year for the same problem but he did not name any suth problems. He only gave me some calcium supplements and advised to stick to calcium XXXXXXX diet. The entire problem started after my pregnancy
Is there a family history of arthritis like Rheumatoid arthritis?
is it only involving the knee or other joints too?
Is there a swelling in the knee?
all my joints usually crack but the tissue pain is majorly around my left knee. No i dont develop any stiff XXXXXXX i used to when i consulted doctor last year but not now and that too not moring stiffness but stiffness post sitting for long in one position in the office
I understand your concern
Has it been going on for more than a year now?
but it is acute only when my physical activities are high
I would like to give you a few suggestions here
You need to undergo a few investigations for this
Firstly, would be an x-ray of the affected joint
and other immune markers if required
Also, a clinical examination of the joint would be required
To arrest the progression of the disease, its treatment should be started at the eariest
My suggestion for you would be
1. consult with a skilled orthopedician
2. Get these investigations done
is arthritis curable?
3. If need be, a consult with the Rheumatologist
Yes, in the initial stages when treatment is started early
Arthritis is known to have remissions and relapses
It has to be managed carefully
We need to find out the type of arthritis and manage accordingly
ok and what about cracking of joints is it sign of artiritis
Yes, it is
i am kind of over weight and have been consulting dietician and have informed about my this problem . So i have a calcium XXXXXXX diet chart but need to exercise also which includes walking for around 60 min a day. Will it affect my joints or walking is ok
Walking is ok
You can continue it
ok thanks a lot i will soon see an orthopedician
In fact, moderated physical activity helps in new bone formation
That would be ideal
Do you have more queries or doubts?
no thank you
Thank you too
Get well soon
bye for noe
