User :   Hi, this has only been going on for a couple of days now, and I am a bit of a hyperchondriac and worry a lot! But my vagina area seems drier than normal, there isn't really any itching or redness, but I do feel the need to wee a bit more than usual, but it's not excessive or anything, and then I go to the toilet and only a little bit comes out. I'm in a sexual relationship with the same man now for 2 years and neither of us have ever been with anyone else and i've been on the pill for about a year and a half now. Thanks for your help.
Doctor :   Hi,
User :   hi
Doctor :   ok, may i know your last menstrual period date ?
User :   yes I finished my period a week ago today
Doctor :   ok, and do you face any difficulty or pain during intercourse ?
User :   no i never normally have, only slightly the last time which was wednesday night, but we didn't use lube, and it was fine towards the end, and it wasn't pain as such maybe a slight burning but minor
User :   not burning burning just a bit hot
Doctor :   ok, this is fine , its just due to estrogen excess ,
Doctor :   its a period where new glands will be growing in hence the dryness
Doctor :   this is normal
User :   ok, it's never really happened before though! I've generally been very healthy in that area and never quite so dry. what should I do? just give it time and if no better after a few more days go to my doctor?
Doctor :   yes , give it time
Doctor :   it may limit within 3 to 5 days
User :   ok, it probably started around thurs/fri
Doctor :   use lubricant gelly during the intercourse if you want
User :   and i suppose worrying won't help the situation!
Doctor :   yes, do not worry
Doctor :   if this do not come down in a week then you may have to visit a gynecologist
User :   ok thanks for your help
Doctor :   you are welcome
Doctor :   thanks for consulting me
Doctor :   Bye for now
Doctor :   Take care
