User :   is the localized sweating strange?
Doctor :   Where did it bite you?
Doctor :   No whenever the bug bites it leaves a sting that causes sweating.
User :   still not even really positive it was a bite but it had such a sudden onset thats the only thing i can relate it too and it is my right arm right above the in elbow crease to my upper arm
Doctor :   You can apply Caladryl lotion on it 3 times a day.
User :   so my biggest concern of the strange sweating in such a small localized area but that is not abnormal then correct?
Doctor :   Also if itching is too much take Benadryl lotion to relieve the allergic symptoms.

User :   I was recently treated for a strange finger condition but I donot believe it was correctly diagnosed I had a small area of my index finger just below the nail fold that would not heal small cuts and skin almost had smoother appearance its lasted for about 6 months recently got infected and was treated for that but the doctor diagnosed it as verucca vulgaris which when not infected has no appearance of that whatsoever and the nail has lost some sensation and the skin doesnt have the same feeling anymore. any ideas on what it could really be?
Doctor :   Do you have any other symptom like raised sugar, Bp or cholesterol?
User :   thats the thing he didnt want to bother running any tests
Doctor :   Do you mean you have not undergone any tests?
User :   yes
Doctor :   But that is requireed.
User :   it looks a lot better but still the loss of sensations that it originally had before all this began
User :   Im a veteran and get treated at a veterans hospital what can I say
Doctor :   Sometimes raised sugar can also cause these symptoms, so better to have it
User :   any other possibility I will get the blood sugar checked
User :   its just in the one finger
Doctor :   It can also be that the nerve has been getting loss of sensation due to some other reasons as weakness
Doctor :   Thanks
