Doctor:It is normal to experience mild lower abdominal crampy pain during early period of pregnancy.
Doctor:Since the products of conception is new to your uterus
Doctor:it responds with this type of pain.
Doctor:This pain would gradually disappear as the uterus gets used to it.
Doctor:You need to be concerned only if this pain is very severe and if you are bleeding with it.

Doctor:Start taking folic acid supplements - Tab folvite 5mg once a day, if you are not on it.

Doctor:Herbal cough syrup has no reports of adverse effects. As my knowledge is restricted in ayurveda, I cannot comment on this product.

User:i had menses last in Oct 28 so can u tell me as what is d duration of pregnancy so per online calculators i m 4-5 weeks pregnant
Doctor:Gestational age is calculated from the first day of last menstrual period.
Doctor:If the first date of last menstrual period was 28th october, then you are completed 5 weeks of pregnancy

Doctor:It is more like a screening test.
Doctor:Your doctors would order frequent ultrasound scan. They are also done as a screening process and not because of concerns.
