Doctor:Ok but I guess it is normal, 37 to 43 is considered as normal
User:yes....even his pediatrician said samething....
Doctor:Any growth and developmental abnormalities other than HC
Doctor:?
User:however, i was going through some internet studies which said, the low HC, means small HC would mean low IQ
User:No,not noted tillnow....his height is 60 cm.....and weight is 5.2 kg...his birth weight is 2.74 kg

Doctor:Moreover his HC in normal ranges ok
Doctor:Ok good
User:when they took my blood, and when I receive report, it showed CMV IgG as positive
User:i.e. reactive...
User:Would that mean that the herpes infection would have spread to my baby as well...
User:and that can be the reason for his low HC
Doctor:Yes, CMV can affect the baby
Doctor:But you need to worry until baby is active and all his para meters are normal
Doctor:I guess Your baby is not having any abnormalities so far
Doctor:Does he have any congenital abnormalities?
User:can i have any test to check this effect..
User:how i can check congenital abnormalities?
Doctor:Just follow up with you pediatrician and to know about any developmental abnormalities, hearing loss, you can ask for blood tests to confirm the diagnosis
