User:I have a common query
User:I m 35 yr old and having 1yr old baby
User:and i m still feeding her
User:now i m planning to reduce weight
User:so is it safe for me to have green tea
Doctor:Green tea has no significant effects on breast feeding.
Doctor:However some of the ingredients in the green tea
Doctor:can pass to the child with breast feeding.

Doctor:So mild to moderate drinks is fine.
Doctor:However do not drink excessive amount of green tea.

Doctor:In fact excess coffee/tea drink also need to be restricted.
User:so 1 or 2 cups in a day is it fine
Doctor:You can take them once you stop breast feeds.
Doctor:I would suggest you to not use more than 1 cup.
Doctor:As you stop breast feeds, which I suppose you will very shortly, you can increase the amount.
