User :   my daughter is having sharp abdomen pain, diarrea and shes had her period for about 2 months

User :   about 3 days

User :   her period is usually abnormal but lately shes had it for months at a time

User :   the pain in her lower abdomen is on both the left and right side

diarrhea usually will be associated with diffuse pain all over the abdomen

User :   she is in the bathroom every 15 to 20 min

User :   there is blood but i think its from her period not from the stool

Doctor :   and now the mainstay of treatment is adequate hydration

need to give her enough fluids orally to compensate the loss from diarrhea
Doctor :   no antibiotics is required at present as the episodes of diarrhea has come down

User :   she started her periods at the age of 9.. she used to get them once a year and now its like nonstop

User :   she started getting it in february and ever since then shes had it with spotting inbetween

User :   it usually last 20 days

most of the time irregular periods are normal initially

and it will get settled with in 2 to 3 years

and if the irregular bleeding continues even after three years or more after the first menstural period

it indicates some hormonal imbalance

so need to be treated with hormonal pills to regularize the periods
User :   like birth control
Doctor :   the hormonal irregularity may be thyroid hormone or the sex hormones it self
Doctor :   if sex hormonal than birth control pills will help

Doctor :   she needs a physical examination to determine which hormone is causing her menstrual irregularity
User :   they had her on birth control but we had to take her off because she was having mood swings and starting to become depressed
