Doctor:Let me brief you.
Doctor:Ovulation date is predicted using period dates. However the predicted date is very reliable when menstrual cycles are regular.
Doctor:In presence of irregular periods such as yours,
Doctor:the predicted dates need to be confirmed with other methods.
Doctor:When the periods are irregular, a formula is used to calculate the predicted ovulation days (longest menstrual cycle minus 10 days to shortest menstrual cycle minus 18 days).
Doctor:When we take the period days of your last 6 mensens, your seem to have had periods once in 31, 25, 39, 31 25 and 30 days.
Doctor:Therefore, your predicted ovulation days would fall between 7th to 21st day of every month.
Doctor:Have you followed?
User:7 th to 21st means from the first day of my period
Doctor:Yes, 7th to 21st day from the first day of period.
User:so for this month i got my periods on i should try from 17 th correct
Doctor:Yes. You are mostly to ovulate from then.
Doctor:Do you have any other query?
User:can i use i sure kit
User:from 7th
User:i mean this 17th
Doctor:You have 2-3 options now.
User:any other suggestion for me
Doctor:One is use I-sure kit from the 7th day onwards.
Doctor:2. Record your early morning temperature every day as you wake up.
Doctor:The day you ovulate, you will find transient (but mild) elevation in your temperature
Doctor:3. Monitor your cervical secretions.
Doctor:The day you ovulate, the secretions will become slightly sticky.
Doctor:Have you followed?
Doctor:Do you have any other query?
User:i am taking folvite 5 mg
User:and one iron tonic daily
Doctor:You can continue Folvite and the tonic.
User:any suggestions from your side
Doctor:Iron and Folic acid is the supplements you require.
User:Thanks a lot for the input...if possible i will keep you inform further updates
Doctor:You are already on that. So you can continue them.
Doctor:Sure. You can always get back to me if you require any help.
User:have a nice day :)
Doctor:Thanks for consulting me.
Doctor:Have a nice day!!
Doctor:Bye for now.
