Doctor :   HIV PCR test can usually give accurate results within three weeks of infection.
Doctor :   there is something called as fourth generation test which combines both antigen and pcr test which is even more accurate
Doctor :   antibody test in the initial period will not confirm or exclude hiv
User :   what is that initial period?
Doctor :   but as u have tested for PCR u can relax by 99%
Doctor :   means varies from 6 weekd to 6 months
User :   oh.. thats comfort...
Doctor :   differs from patient to patient

Doctor :   however 100 % confirmation will be done after western blot tes
User :   so you are saying have a wester blot test?
Doctor :   comming to rapid test Rapid HIV testing using oral fluids or blood specimens are EIA/ELISA screening tests that provide results in 20 minutes. T
User :   I had INSTI rapid test
User :   blood test
Doctor :   This kind of test has been shown to be highly accurate (99.5%) and comparable to the blood tests that are performed in a lab. A positive result from a Rapid EIA test is considered "preliminarily positive" and must be confirmed with a Western Blot performed in a lab.
