User :   have a question regarding if I am starting to have pre diabetes.. diabetes run in my family both sides. Month age had normal blood work done and one was for golcose level. test result was 104. doctoe said all numbers in blood work was normal but this number really bother me knowing a lttle bit about diabetes. So I been testing my level with one of those meters . Every morning before I eat ,I test and get a reading that varies between 105 and 130 and bedtime levels other about 140 . My question should I be more concern?

Doctor :   you are pretty much in the normal range as far as blood sugar is concerned . well i will be honest with you , if you have diabetes from both sides from the family then yes it does out you at some risk
Doctor :   but the most important thing is that if your are particular about your diet and you are exercising then its nothing to worry about
Doctor :   you are what we can call is a borderline , and the good news is that borderline diabetes is completely reversible

User :   but is this something i need to consult my with my phyician .. answer to question no I have never had it tested
Doctor :   i want you to get 2 tests done when you meet your physician , one would be hemoglobin level
