User :   i was talking to another doctor about inflammation of the stomatch lining in a 12 yr old but the session went funny

Doctor :   Stomach inflammation is a endoscopic/biopsy feature of gastritis.
User :   ok
Doctor :   It's a much more common in adults than in pediatric age group.
Doctor :   There are two varieties of it.
User :   do you think she has something more serious
Doctor :   The common factors responsible for pronounced inflammatory changes in gastritis are
Doctor :   1. Drugs such as non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs -which has been explained.
Doctor :   2. dietary or environmental conditions.
Doctor :   3. allergic gastritis - food allergens in simple terms.
Doctor :   these three are not major concerns.
User :   She is on a few drugs/medication
Doctor :   However, occasionally, they can be associated with other gut problems such as Chron's disease or Ulcerative colitis which may have to be assessed if required.

User :   she has m.e(chronic fatigue syndrome)and has been on them for 3 years

User :   they thought mebeverine was not working and no there is no side affects.she is still on amitrptyline and melatonin

Doctor :   There are numerous other drugs which can be responsible for the gastritis.
User :   should we go back to her padetrician at the hospital
Doctor :   When did she undergo the endoscopy.
User :   may 11th
Doctor :   Is she presently on any treatment?
Doctor :   If yes, I would suggest you to continue the treatment and review with her pediatrician at the end of her treatment.
Doctor :   If needed, she may need another endoscopy.
