Doctor :   Ok, you can give her syp calpol.
User :   ok..normally after wht deg temp shd we give it 100 or more or less
Doctor :   If you have the 125mg/5ml dosed calpol syrup.
User :   i vr 250
Doctor :   If it is 250mg/5ml dose, you need to give her3.5ml of it.
User :   ok
Doctor :   The syrup may take about 20 to 40 minutes for fever to come down.
User :   ok..and whn shd i repeat
Doctor :   You can repeat the syrup every 4 to 6 hours again, if the fever occurs again after that.
Doctor :   In simple terms keep her temperature monitored, every hour or once in every 2 hours.
User :   and only if its 100 or more
Doctor :   And repeat the syrup only if the temperature goes 100 or more.

Doctor :   Most often the syrup will bring it down.

Doctor :   But if the fever remains above 100 even after an hour of giving the syrup, then you will need to give her tipid sponging.
Doctor :   meaning wipe her body - fore head, armpits, body and groin with room temperature water.
