User :   so is it OK?
Doctor :   yes that is fine

User :   we have done all teh possible tests for my daughter and no one can say correctly what she has since tests are all OK...even x ray ....all d docs say she is allergic
Doctor :   if the cough is persistant , then a cuogh suppresant can be prescribed by your doctor

User :   duoline is not a steroid right?
Doctor :   yes
Doctor :   no duolin is a bronchodilator
User :   which cough syrup should I give...its a wet cough....
User :   few questions:and how should we stop budacort told me stop after 3 days but shouldn't i taper it slowly? i mean 3 times 3 days then 2 times 2 days then once daily and stop?
Doctor :   you can give her solvex expectorant
Doctor :   since this is given by nebulisation there is no need for tapering
Doctor :   tapering the dose is given in oral steroids
User :   2. Should I stop budacort nebu and continue duoline, thrice a day for say another 2 days as she still has cough and it won't harm her right?
User :   3. what should be the dosage of solvex expectorant ?
Doctor :   change of dosage and stoppage of meds cannot be adviced online without having a exact knowledge of the condition of a kid, that is without examiing
Doctor :   that would be legally wrong on my part
User :   OK
Doctor :   yes you can continue duolin nebulisation
User :   ok
User :   4. R these inhallations safe? all d doc here says they are the safest as they don't go into the system or blood and since we stay in bangalore doc says its almost common with all the kids in Bangalore...IT WILL TAKE -5 YEARS FOR HER TO BE OK AND DEVELOP it true?
Doctor :   that is not going to harm her in any way
Doctor :   yes thats right
User :   5. does these inhallations cause constipation in any way?
Doctor :   bangalore has a slightly colder climate and a lot of pollen that can cause allergy symptoms
Doctor :   no no chance of constipation
User :   6. she had fever also so was on antibiotics which got over day before yesterday. and since 2-3 days she doesnt want to eat can she regain her appetite?
Doctor :   this is due to post fever and side effects of medications
User :   so will she be normal in next few days?
Doctor :   this will wear off within a few days and is nothing to worry about it
