User:Hello Doctor
User:This is XXXXXXX here
Doctor:How are you doing?
User:I'm doing good
User:actually I have delivered baby on 23rd
Doctor:How can I help you?
User:Thanks a lot
Doctor:Are both of you doing fine?
Doctor:Are you there?
User:I'm sorry ...internet was disconnected
Doctor:No problem, XXXXXXX
User:is this XXXXXXX?
Doctor:Tell me how can I help you
User:actually my baby is not passing urine properly
User:she has done 2 times in last 48 hours
User:is that normal?
Doctor:Are you feeding her every 2 hours
Doctor:Is she feeding properly?
User:but she cries very much while feeding
Doctor:She is probably not able to take her feed properly, XXXXXXX
Doctor:Is there any issue with your nipples?
Doctor:Can she latch on effectively?
User:she takes in the nipples...and after few sucks , she starts crying
Doctor:So she is not able to feed
Doctor:Thats why she is not passing urine
Doctor:and this is not normal
User:I've very much flow of milk...and I've got some breast knots of milk
Doctor:First thing is that you need to hold her properly
Doctor:This link will tell you how to hold her
Doctor:I recommend the 1st position which is shown here
Doctor:Its the best way
Doctor:second thing is are you giving her something else apart from breats milk?
User:I hold the baby right in that position
Doctor:Thats good
Doctor:Do you burp the baby properly after you feed ?
User:that I don't do frequently
Doctor:Please do that
Doctor:Hold the baby against your shoulder and rub the back of the child from up to down
Doctor:Second thing, have you noticed that as soon as your baby starts crying for milk, milk starts flowing?
User:sometimes not...but very rare
Doctor:Whenever you have that
Doctor:I would suggest that you lie down on your back and nurse the baby when the child is on top of you
Doctor:So basically your child lies down on you and takes milk
Doctor:Or you can use the position that you are using and lie down while holding your child like that
Doctor:Are you nursing your child in the night as well?
User:I think she gets tired after few sucks and starts crying
User:In the night, when she cries , I feed her... but as soon as she gets to the sleep, I stop feeding her
Doctor:But that cannot be true throughout the day, right?
Doctor:She cant be tired through the day
User:almost every time she do that
Doctor:Thats what
Doctor:So try nursing her in a different position and burp her well
Doctor:Its absolutely necessary
Doctor:I think that should help
Doctor:But she needs to be fed XXXXXXX
Doctor:Its important
User:and what about my knots of milk in the breast...that is spreading in my under arms also
Doctor:It is a sign that she is not feeding well
Doctor:Once she starts feeding well, you will be ok
Doctor:The milk is getting accumulated
User:I would try my best to feed her properly
Doctor:I would suggest that you express the milk in a katori
Doctor:Express the milk otherwise it predisposes you to an infection
Doctor:You can try and feed her with a katori and spoon
Doctor:But that should be absolutely clean
Doctor:Breast feeding is always the preferred option
User:yes...but that hurts a lot to squeeze the nipples
Doctor:Dont squeeze the nipples
Doctor:Let me send you a picture of how you need to express milk
User:yes...sure...I need that
Doctor:This will give you the details on how to do it
User:Thanks Doctor....I would try my best for proper breast feeding
Doctor:This will give you a video
Doctor:You're most welcome
Doctor:Is there anything else I can help you with
User:Thanks a lot doctor...
Doctor:If she does not pass urine by tonight, XXXXXXX
Doctor:Take her to a hospital
Doctor:I dont want to take a chance
Doctor:She is too small
User:ok...she has passed urine just 1 hour back
Doctor:Just keep a watch
Doctor:Take care
Doctor:Did you follow?
Doctor:Thanks for consulting me
Doctor:Bye for now
