User :   Hello I am a 20 year old male with an overactive thyroid gland and three days ago I was hospitalised with a rapid heart beat that didnt stop until I was treated at hospital. I started taking Carbimazole 6 weeks ago, and I am wondering how long it will take for my thyroid to go back to normal levels as I am scared to do sport, [I mean is it ok for me to take part in sport] Are there any dangers to my health because of it, I'm always worried.
Thank you
