User :   I had a question and wanted to clarify with a doctor.
User :   Since yesterday I have seen an increase in the frequency of passing urine

User :   I am getting into a situation with a full bladder frequently

User :   Could this be related to cold.. or there could be other things as well

Doctor :   Do you have burning sensation while passing urine?
Doctor :   Do you have fever?
User :   i wont say burning sensation.. But I do feel a fullness of the bladder and need to relieve is very high each time
User :   no fever
Doctor :   Do you have history of diabetes/prostrate problems in the past?
User :   no history
User :   Last year I had done health assessment

User :   there was slightly high sugar in the report..But doctor had termed it as normal only
User :   everything else was normal

Doctor :   Increased frequency of urination are known to occur commonly with 3 causes.
Doctor :   1. Urinary infection
Doctor :   2. Diabetes
Doctor :   3. Prostrate problems.

Doctor :   Since your symptoms are since a day, its most likely the infection that is causing it.
User :   ok
Doctor :   If you are sexually active recently, this can be a cause for the infection.
Doctor :   Let me suggest you the measures that you may follow.

Doctor :   1. Drink plenty of water atleast 1.5 litres a day is necessary.
Doctor :   2. Watch out for symptoms such as burning sensation while passing urine, fever, pain while urination.

Doctor :   3. If you notice any of these symptoms or if your symptoms are persisting, you will need a urine test and appropriate antibiotics.
User :   ok so I will monitor for next couple of days just by drinking water
