User :   20 years ago I had a partial thyroidectomy and the remaining was frozen. I was told I would have to take synthyroid for the rest of my life. For the next 10 years I took the pill then I stopped for a couple of years , no insurance. got insurance again and every doctor I have seen does a simple thyroid blood test and say I dont need the pill because I am in the level. How can that be?.. I have felt awful for 10 years, doctors say I have fibromyalgia and depression and give me pain pills and anti depressants. It does not make sense.
