Doctor :   HAS the doctor mentioned that you have high TSH levels OR low TSH levels ? IF HE has just mentioned that you have a high functioning gland, then has he recommended a thyroid scan ?

Doctor :   THYROMINE IS A supplement for people with low thyroid gland function, NOT for HIGH thyroid function

User :   this doctor i have is new and i swear there this organized over there from all i no the results were fine but it was high

Doctor :   if it is just a thyoid overactive gland, then medications like carbimazole can be given to reduce the thyroid activity
User :   he did not even prescribe me anything as i was suppose to go back the following day for bloodwork again as they wanted to do a 2nd test to make sure

User :   high thyroid would this cause all this discomforth in my neck and i have like to small pea size ball under my neck aswell sore

Doctor :   it needs to be titrated to your TSH levels and your symptoms , and the dose is 2-3 times a day
Doctor :   no , there are none to reduce thyroid functions
Doctor :   please understand this is not a childs play
Doctor :   if u take abnormal meds without supervision, u might end up in other complications
User :   ok so i should go see my doctor again and get tested and get prescribtion

Doctor :   and to reiterate, thyromine is a strict NO NO FOR you
Doctor :   you need meds to reduce thyroid function , not to supplement it
