Hyperthyroidism. Have high fever, headaches, weakness. Should I get a blood test done? - Online Doctor Chats
hello..hw r u
How can I help you?
I am fine; thank you.
high body temperature..headache..and weakness
Yes, I remember your conversation.
gr8...so i had my blood tested for the same
and it says that T3 = 146.20, T4 = 8.53 & TSH = 2.25
what does that signify
The values are under limits.
Did you consult a doctor before getting the test?
no..because i studied the hyperthyroid online
and somewhere found you to be correct..
so i decided to get a blood test first, then i'll consult a doctr
Right. Now since your blood tests are in limits, this excludes the possibility of hyperthyroid state.
How are your symptoms now?
so what can be the other possibility
Are the symptoms persisting?
symptoms are the same
high body temperature
also, i measured the temp. but it was around 98f
but i feel myself having fever...why is this so
Anxiety, autonomic disturbances and cortisol disturbances are associated with other symptoms such as feeling warmth and sweating too.
two more doctors said the same
also that day i forgot to mention that i had a problem of low BP, but now it keeps normal..
those tremors in hands were felt for two days..
and as i already said..that whenever i am tensed or worried, i find myself unwell
generally get fever..or severe headache
i feel dizziness quite often..but never faint..
get a feeling of being fainted...but i manage myself to balance
However from the outset, if you did have high thermometer reading; all these symptoms could be due to a possible systemic infection.
no..i always feel fever..but whenever i consult a doctor..he says i am not having fever..
but the feeling of getting warm & having a bitter taste is there..weakness is there
