User:I have small query
User:this is regarding my father, age: 63

User:recently we found he has high blood sugar
User:he is located in West Bengal, my native
User:so, he mate with a local doctor and had some medicine for 15 days. Then is reduced to normal.
User:So, visited the same doctor after 15 days after it became normal.
User:Then doctor changed the medicines and wanted to observe for another 20 days.
User:now today we did another blood test and found the sugar level become high again. (apprx 350)
User:we have another visit on tomorrow...but we think to change the local doctor and bring him to Bangalore for a better treatment.
User:I want your suggestion on this
Doctor:Diabetes is best controlled with diet and exercise
Doctor:Initially a trial of diet and exercise should be given
User:yes he do it regularly from his younger age...thats why we were surprised to see him with diabetes
Doctor:I also need to know his initial blood sugar levels and the symptoms that he was having
User:his initial level was same like 350 -380
Doctor:Were these fasting blood sugar levels?

User:Symtoms: There was a pain in his legs and he was not able to stop his urine motion

User:I.m not exactly sure about the name because he is in my native and I am from bangalore now
User:but it was some 5-6 medicines

Doctor:No sugary foods and juices
Doctor:High protein diet may be taken
Doctor:Pure drinking water to prevent infections

Doctor:If you feel that the medical care is inappropriate in native, you can bring him to Bangalore
Doctor:Once his treatment is stable, he will be better able to manage high sugar

Doctor:Also he should regularly check his sugar levels with a glucometer at home
