User :   I woke up at 3 am and my pulse it 82 isn't that high?

Doctor :   HR greater than 100 at rest can be considered high

User :   dad just got pacemaker that is why aware of pulse

User :   could I be having early change of life
Doctor :   I would advice you to get one done, as weight loss, palpitations, sweating, feeling hot - are signs of high thyroid levels

User :   I actually gained 10 lbs in a yr

Doctor :   hot flashes and feeling hot can occur with menopause (if ,early in your case) and also with thyroid issues

User :   haven't had one in 6 yrs

Doctor :   But the best step here, is to do a thyroid tests

Doctor :   if you are able to walk , then i would suggest a brisk walk for 30 min, which will bring on some fatigue, and help you sleep (if this is ok with you)

Doctor :   Here are some ways you can fight insomnia take a good bath before you sleep try not to over do it .have good body massage go for a total body massage. try avoiding coffee or tea during day time. Use the bed only to sleep at night, don't lie on the bed during day time
