User :   my gpa was just admitted to the hospital for water round his heart and a hole in his esphogus the water is now going thru the hole in his esphogus what does this mean????

Doctor :   which is a collection of fluid around the heart
Doctor :   due to inflammation or viral infection
User :   so can it be treated
Doctor :   yes if the collection is very large, then echocardiography or ultrasound can be done and the fluid removed by way of suction with a syringe
