User :   150 fasting and 120 pp, this is for my friend who is 54 years old

User :   tests were done a cpl of months back... and in a lab

Doctor :   a fasting blood sugar of less than 110 to 120 is considered normal
Doctor :   if they exceed this we expect diabetes
Doctor :   it is fasting blood sugar which is important
Doctor :   as they determine the over night glucose levels
Doctor :   the post prandial blood glucose may show some variations
Doctor :   as he is on medications it may be expected to be low
Doctor :   any value of more than 140 mg/dl is considered as diabetic range
