User :   i live at sealevel but have been at a ski area for 4 days. i came up with a lingering cold/cough and have been experiencing what feels like rapid heart beat with palpitations. my husband just took my pulse...twice in succession...with the same results...90 bpm. i was standing at the time. am getting ready to go out for a moderate hike on groomed trails...should i? i am 63 years old in good health.
