User :   Hello , I'm a 37yom and while getting screened for a physical my AST and ALT readings were high AST 210 and ALT 81, I'm in no pain or discomfort and I'm not jaundice and not taking any meds. I also have no medical hx.

User :   2 weeks ago I'm a firefighter in perfect health it's for a HAZMAT physical I'm in special operations. Could a heavy leg workout 12 hours before the blood draw give a false positive?
Doctor :   Yes, it can happen ususally.
Doctor :   They categorically do not symbolise liver disease.
Doctor :   It can happen in any muscle injury or muscle damage.
User :   I do remember being extremely sore that morning
Doctor :   Or also in some acute liver infections like Hepatitis A which is water borne and heals very fast

Doctor :   How are your S.Bilirubin levels /

User :   As a paramedic I'm exposed to these diseases however I am up to date on my shots

User :   none found in urine
Doctor :   How about S.Albumin, as it indicates chroninc liver problem.
User :   creatinine serum 1.27

User :   Albumin serum 4.9
User :   A/G ratio was 1.8
Doctor :   That is normal, indicating an Acute Liver disease ,like Hepatitis A.
Doctor :   Not to worry, Hep.A is not like Hep.B and will heal in a week's time.
User :   Urine specific gravity was above 1.030
Doctor :   But I would advise you to get a Hep.A antibody test to be doen immediately for IgG & IgM.
Doctor :   This would rule out anything else .
User :   So it may be I'm fighting hep A?
User :   How long does the body take in fighting this off?
Doctor :   Yes, exectly right.
Doctor :   I would advise you to follow the following steps to heal faster.
Doctor :   1. Ear lots of fruits.
Doctor :   2.veggies.
Doctor :   3. juices & water.
Doctor :   4. Avoid fatty diet which will cause load to liver.
Doctor :   5.Have a herbal medication called Liv.52 which is OTC.
User :   How long will I have to wait to get the results back ?
Doctor :   Do you have anything else to ask ?
