User :   My wife is suffering from sever headache and high BP

User :   once she got minor paralysis type attack due high bp

User :   2 days back, she felt the same problem
Doctor :   May I know the time of the minor paralysis attack.

User :   attack was 8-9 month back

User :   yes, she was hospitalized for 2 days

Doctor :   After going through your details, I would suggest you the following: User :   now on alternate day she had asleep and headache
Doctor :   1) As she has history of minor paralysis attack in the past, it would be better to get examined by a physician as she is more prone to recurrent attacks.
Doctor :   2) Try to maintain her Blood pressure below 130/80.

Doctor :   Meanwhile you can follow these measures: Doctor :   Ice pack wraps should be applied on her head.
User :   at that time her CT scan and MRI which was done twice, was ok as per doctor
Doctor :   This will reduce her headache and considerably some amount of Blood pressure.

Doctor :   Reduce her salt intake in her food. upto 5 mg per day is helpful.

Doctor :   It could be due to High Blood pressure causing Atherosclerosis, Haemorrhage in the brain blood vessels which can produce Paralysis.
Doctor :   The treatment would be to control Blood pressure most importantly.
Doctor :   That is by antihypertensives medications.
Doctor :   Reduce salt intake
Doctor :   Regular Physical exercises
Doctor :   Avoid stress.
User :   Any medicine you would like to suggest
Doctor :   Avoid tea, coffee and spicy food.
Doctor :   It would be unethical and inappropriate for me to prescribe medicines with out physical examination.

Doctor :   Nothing would be required right now for sleep.
User :   she is overweight too
Doctor :   Once Bp is reduced she will gain her normal sleep back.
Doctor :   It would be required to reduce her weight too, to maintain a healthy life style.
