User :   For the last 4 weeks I have been experiencing a feeling of fullness in my head on bending down (like you get if you stand on your head for too long). There is no breathlessness, headache or chest pain. Today when kneeling on the floor leaning forward I became tachycardic (normal HR 70, increased to 120). No chest pain. Any thoughts?
User :   Oh by the way I am 43 and a fit female
Doctor :   Hi
User :   Hi
Doctor :   I am reading your query please be patient
Doctor :   Do you mean you have headache or just raised pressure inside the head
User :   no headache at all, just raised pressure
Doctor :   How come you knew about being tachycardic while you knelt down?
Doctor :   Did you mean you measured the blood pressure and pulse?
User :   I felt flushed and could feel my heart beating in my chest. Regular rhythm, no dizziness. I felt my pulse and counted it
Doctor :   Since how long you have similar episodes?
Doctor :   Oh sorry I just read it 4 weeks
Doctor :   Do you have blurring of vision / rining in the ears during that episodes
Doctor :   *ringing
User :   no. I had pulsatile tinnitus in pregnancy and was diagnosed with dehiscence of jugular venous bulb, but the tinnitus has not persisted
Doctor :   Do you have diagnosed having sinusitis / migraine ?
User :   No. I took some decogestants recently in case it was my sinuses but that hasn't made a difference.
Doctor :   decongestants can cause such typical pain
Doctor :   Do you correlate those episodes with their intake?
User :   Not sure, maybe the flushing and tache? not the bending down pressure bit though...
Doctor :   Ok at this point I would measure your blood pressure at normal and bent position, I would also do a retinal exam to see the raised pressure in the brain
Doctor :   There is an entity called Benign intracranial pressure in women which has no importance
User :   Any relation to implanon? I had it taken out last week because I was feeling lousy...
Doctor :   Implanon was taken just a week
Doctor :   but your complaints were from 4 weeks
Doctor :   Although contraceptives can cause such discomfort
User :   No, had it taken out last week after 6 months of use in case it was contibuting
Doctor :   Ok a possibility
Doctor :   I need more time
Doctor :   to discuss your problem
Doctor :   Are you there
