Having numbness, tingling on body. All rheumatoid factor came negative. Nerve related? - Online Doctor Chats
welcome to XXXXXXX
Hope you remember me (we had a chat by 23rd december) and explained that i am undergoing some tests with regards to rheumatoid factor
yes, i do remember it
it was on the 26th of december
all the tests such as anticcp, XXXXXXX hbl27 are negative
I had adviced for the change in the medications
of thiazides that you were on
has that been tried ?
yes, i am taking amalong instead of telsar H
so how long have you tried it ?
for the past 15 days
and how are your symptoms , after stopping the previous medications ?
and feeling better now
so, as i said, My doubts, were right regarding, the symptoms being due to your medications and not due to any other issue
yes, but when i met my neuro, he immediately told that i have some vitamin deficiency and asked me to go though some tests
then i was diagonised for vitamin D and B12 deficiency
i am pure vegatarian
ok, i understand
any supplements advised ?
i am taking trineurosol H injection every alternative days and then after 2 weeks it will be done once a week
but symptoms still remains and i am not sure whether i have vitamin B12 deficiency related diseasses such pernicious anamia
i think i referred earlier about my frequent coughing and other things
but your condition is due to not due to pernicious anemia
it is definitely due to being a vegetarian
has your cough, improved or is it still worse ?
i dont have it now
those symptoms can be due to a lot of conditions , and not due to pernicious anemia
but gastritis and diarrhea.. i had my GB removed as well
just continue amlong for some more time
for that, you need to adopt diet changes
and stop using spicy foods , starch XXXXXXX foods,
These include chocolate, citrus fruits and juices, tomatoes and tomato-based products, mustard, vinegar, mint products, and spicy, highly seasoned, fried, and fatty foods.
Avoid drinks containing caffeine (coffee, tea, cola) because these can relax the XXXXXXX and allow acid to reflux back into the esophagus.
Don't eat big meals. Eat several small meals throughout the day instead.
Wait at least three hours after your last meal before going to bed.
Sleep with your head and shoulders propped up with a wedge pillow or elevate the head of your bed six to eight inches. This will allow gravity to work for you and it will help keep your stomach acids where they should be--in your stomach and not in your esophagus.
Sit upright in a comfortable chair rather than slouching.
Too much of a weight, and obesity, puts more pressure on your stomach, and can force stomach contents through the XXXXXXX and into your esophagus.
hence, you should try to maintain a good weight , and reduce weight, if u are overweight
so i dont have to worry about anything else right?
in case, you have severe symptoms due to gastritis, you can use antacids like gelusil MPS, after meals
yes, that is right
take your medications for blood pressure and keep it in check
continue your B12 injections as advised , or once in 3-6 months once
ok, thank you
maintain good weight , and exercise regularly
this will keep ur fitness
try to keep stress away, by meditation
i am already taking yoga practice
You need not worry about things like rheumatological diseases, since your blood tests are negative
ok, thank you
you are very welcome
Hope u have followed my suggestions, is there any other questions ?
sure doctor, i dont have any questions
take care for now, and have a good day ahead
