Doctor:Let me brief you.
Doctor:Menstrual irregularities occur due to changes in hormonal levels.
Doctor:If you have tested for pregnancy more than couple of times, then it is unlikely to be due to pregnancy.
Doctor:Ovarian cyst is one such condition where hormones go disarry.
Doctor:They can cause delayed period as well as lower abdominal pain.
Doctor:I would suggest you to repeat the pregnancy test one more time.
User:then how do i know that i is cyst, andwhat about the occational brown discharge
Doctor:If the test comes negative, then you will need to undergo ultrasound scan to confirm the ovarian cyst.
Doctor:Brownish discharge is similar to spotting.
User:preg test after how many days
User:didint get
Doctor:All your symptoms - delayed period, left lower abdominal pain and brown discharge are related.
User:related to what
Doctor:The hormonal disturbances which in turn is most likely due to ovarian cyst.
Doctor:You can perform the pregnancy test using home pregnancy kit. Perform the test with an early morning urine sample.
Doctor:If the test come negative, then your next step is to get an ultrasound scan of the pelvis.
User:is tablet neutrogest 200 good in this condition
User:i have done 3 preg test on 17th 23 nd and 27rd XXXXXXX
User:lmp 13/05/13
Doctor:If the last scan was performed on 27th XXXXXXX then there is no need to repeat the scan.
User:pregnancy test no scan
Doctor:Naturgest a progesterone drug can be used to cause withdrawal bleeding.
Doctor:In the sense, they are prescribed for a few days and once we stop it, period (withdrawal bleeding) starts.
Doctor:It can be helpful in your case,
Doctor:however I suggest you to get an ultrasound scan to rule out ovarian cyst.
Doctor:Based on the scan report your gynecologist can suggest whether or not you need to be started on regular birth control pills or manage the current condition with pills like naturogest.
Doctor:It is very, very unlikely to be pregnancy.
User:scan means??
Doctor:Do not worry.
Doctor:Ultrasound scan of the pelvis is essential to diagnose ovarian cyst.
User:when i was pregnent 3 yrs before in my first issue
User:i was given neutogest to protect the mass
User:so it is confusing to me
Doctor:I understand, naturogest is helpful in sustaining pregnancy till your body is able to have enough resource to sustain pregnancy.
Doctor:You would have been asked to continue the drug for 2-3 months during pregnancy.
Doctor:However in a non pregnant state, when pills like naturogest is given briefly for say 3-10 days and stopped abruptly it cause withdrawal period.
Doctor:Gynecologist rely on this method to help patients who have delayed period.
Doctor:Have you followed?
User:not yet
User:i felt that i migh have my mences since after havin those brown discharges
User:so i was actualy waiting for that
Doctor:I understand your doubt. Brown discharge is most likely due to clotted blood stains.
Doctor:So it means you are spotting, but the hormones may have been disturbed by ovarian cyst which is preventing period.
Doctor:The condition can be treated with pills similar to naturogest. However I advised ultrasound scan to check whether or not you have those cysts.
Doctor:You can consult a gynecologist nearby before opting for scan.
Doctor:He/she can order the scan and prescribe you pills similar to naturogest to help you with this problem.
Doctor:I hope it is clear to you now.
User:yes .. thanks a lot

Doctor:Let me brief you.
Doctor:Based on the details provide, your daughter who is 2.7 years old, has bouts of dry cough with wheeze since 2 weeks. No fever. Has mild rashes on the throat. This seems to be a recurring problem.
Doctor:This description is suggestive of allergic bronchitis and not an infectious epsiode.
Doctor:Allergic bronchitis is a condition triggered by allergies such as dust/pollens.
Doctor:Cold weather and cold products can trigger the condition.
Doctor:Ambroxol is more useful if the lungs are congested.
Doctor:Considering she has a dry cough, I feel she needs other medications.
Doctor:Salbutomol syrups can be helpful in allergic bronchitis.
Doctor:If the wheeze is severe, perhaps nebulisation may be required.
Doctor:I would suggest you to take her to a pediatrician. He/she can examine her thoroughly and reconsider the diagnose.
Doctor:If he/she agrees with me, then they can prescribe her bronchodilator syrup like salbutamol.
Doctor:Hope you have followed what I suggested.
Doctor:Do you have any other query?
User:yes .. thanks once again .
Doctor:Thanks for consulting me.
Doctor:Bye for now.
