User :   he was operated for the same 5 years back ...and the result was his 1 kidney was working only 15 %

User :   i think all scans were performed...but i have different questions

User :   because i am not aware of it....and also my parents dont disclose the details of their health problems and precautions to be taken

Doctor :   Since he has a 100 % functioning one kidney, he would have no health problems as the same kidney will take extra burden and grow more in size to take the missing kidneys function
User :   could u tell me abotu what kind of food habits he should have
Doctor :   but care has to be taken so that the existing kidney does not get infected
User :   because my father likes spicy food and he never compromises
Doctor :   this can be achieved by avoiding infections by using good clean water for drinking and other purposes

Doctor :   Spicy foods have to be restricted as they may have indirect bad effect on BP and harm the existing kidney
Doctor :   low fat low protein and moderate carbohydrate and fiber rich diet is what he has to consume
User :   will he be able to travel?
Doctor :   Let him have moderate amount of water not exceeding his routine requirement
Doctor :   yes, there is no problem in traveling
User :   he will be resuming his office on 15th august......currently he is on complete bed rest...
User :   so should he so some lite excercise?
