Doctor:please proceed with the query
User:Doctor, some time back, my wife consulted an ayurvedic doctor and he told her that her body has lot of acid
User:and thats why she keeps reporting gastric issues and headache
Doctor:ok, has she taken any medication for this.
Doctor:from a ayurvedic doctor
User:in most of the cases, she used to take crocin pain relief
User:now, he did gave her metopar and an antacid tab
Doctor:ok, so no releif from this then.
User:but issue some to be still recurring
User:i am looking for some permanent cure
Doctor:Has he given any specific diet chart to be followed
User:she is perfect with her diet which me and even doc felt so
User:she hardly eats outside
Doctor:How old is she, does she complain of nausea?
User:not regularly, but yes when the gastric level goes high
User:she is 26
Doctor:How is her tea, coffee, spicy food intake
User:tea just once
User:she hates spicy food
Doctor:ok, tell her to take cold milk in morning with rusk everyday
Doctor:no tea in empty stomach
User:she takes milk and horlicks
User:at least 2 times
Doctor:cold milk is very good for acidity
Doctor:in empty stoamch
User:not even heated once
Doctor:no it should be heated and cooled in fridge
after that she can have breakfast preferably chapathi
Doctor:banana is also good for acidity.
Doctor:let her have chapathi in morning and night, in afternoon she can have rice
Doctor:This will absorb the acidity, even rusk is used for that
User:rusk in breakfast ...right?
Doctor:early morning with milk she can have 2 piece rusk then later breakfast with chapathi.
make this a routine, let her not drink fruit juices or eat fruit in empty stomach
User:oh ok
Doctor:also stress is another major cause, let her relax and meditate atleast 20 min to rlease the stress
Doctor:the more calm she is less acidity will form
User:yeah, and most of the time, the headache starts when she just wakes takes her 10-20 min to become ok
Doctor:ok, let her meditate 20 min in morning, she should make time for this.
Doctor:headache and acidity together looks like stress is more likely cause
User:oh ok
Doctor:she can take antacids like gelusil only when the acidity is sever before food.
Doctor:but once she keeps it in control she will not need this
Doctor:Do you need diet chart for acidity
User:thats would be great Doctor
Doctor:send me your mobile number
Doctor:ok, we will call you and mail the diet chart, do you have anymore queries.
User:one more thing, is crocin pain relief once in 10 days a safe medicine to take?
Doctor:for headache?
Doctor:once in 10 days is ok, but let her avoid it, too much tablets like crocin over long time can cause liver damage
User:yeah, ii seems paracetamol has that problem
Doctor:once she meditates, even this will come under control, let her reduce salt in diet
Doctor:from how long she has headache,is it sever.
User:sometimes 2-3 days XXXXXXX
User:and in last 7 months, it has happened thrice to her
Doctor:ok, once in a while means can be due to tension, other wise if is present always then you should get her eyes checked
Doctor:get her fully examined, including blood pressure,
Doctor:what is her weight?
User:49 kg and 5 feet height
Doctor:ok, weight is ok.
Doctor:Let her get examined once by an general physician, so he can refer you to right speciality after examining her
User:ok...will do so for sure
Doctor:do you have anymore queries
User:thanks doctor and i would wait for that diet chart for acidity if you could send that asap
Doctor:yes we will do that within 24 hrs
Doctor:Kindly login for further queries.
User:sure doctor
Doctor:you are welcome
