User:i am from chennai, age 30 years

User:i travelled for 5 days in last 2 weeks and to different places
User:delhi, jaipur , cochi, Andhra etc
User:had continuous cold for last 1 week
User:and continuous cough
User:I also have sinus
User:due to continuous cough i was getting flum frequently.
User:just few minutes back i vomited lot of flem along with my evening diet
User:i tried to ake all flem from my throat and after some time started getting flem in red colr (probably blood)
User:Is it normal / serious ?
User:After vomiting i am feeling as if there is a wound or some disturbance in my throat
User:please advise....
Doctor:It is normal to have similar symptoms. But you need evaluation to see if anything is serious.

Doctor:It is normal to have cold , cough with expectoration in people who travel frequently.
Doctor:It shows that you are having a low immunity.
Doctor:In your case, we need to do certain things to make sure nothing else is wrong.
User:the flem for last few days (during brushing) was in yellow color and i am scared to see the same now in red color
Doctor:The red color could be blood due to small injuries in throat.
Doctor:Injuries can be there in persistent cough.
Doctor:So I do not think there should be anything to worry about it.
Doctor:Please do the following, so that you can feel better.
Doctor:- Drink only warm water. Avoid drinking anything cold.
Doctor:- Do steam inhalation with Cap. Karvol Plus dissolved in it.
Doctor:- Take Tab. Celin 500mg, 3 times daily for 2 weeks, after food.
Doctor:- Do Warm saline gargles, at least 4-5 times daily.
Doctor:- If you are feeling congestion in chest or sinuses, you may require antibiotics to bring down the infection.
User:can i use lecope , prescribed by a doctor long back for sinus
Doctor:Before taking any antibiotics, make sure you visit your family physician to have an examination done.
Doctor:You can take Lecope.
Doctor:It is a antihistamine.
User:any suggestions you can give to increase my immunity power
