Doctor:Cough with fever and throat pain are signs of infection
User:so it has gone now
Doctor:Upper respiratory infection with bronchitis could be the cause.
Doctor:This type of infection can be associated with body aches, back pain and tiredness.
Doctor:So if all of these symptoms are reducing, then you need not be worried.

Doctor:and continue the cough syrup along with deep steam inhalation.
Doctor:they will aid in faster recovery of cough.
User:now there is no pain in throat only dry cough
Doctor:Excessive coughing can prevent recovery of throat pain, so treat the cough with cough syrups which you have and deep steam inhalation.
Doctor:If throat pain recur, salt water gargles will help.
User:ok thanks
User:anything else
Doctor:As far as tiredness is concerned,
Doctor:it can be associated with lack of sleep and depression.
Doctor:In addition other causes such as anemia, chronic disease and reduced nutrition can be the cause.
Doctor:Therefore my suggestion to you are
Doctor:1. Get a complete blood count with ESR to rule out anemia / infection.
Doctor:2. Sleep for 6-8 hours regularly.
Doctor:3. Take professional counseling for depression.
Doctor:4. Reduce smoking.
Doctor:5. Drink plenty of water and eat plenty of fruits and vegetables.
User:Is ESR a check up that i have to go at any clinic?
Doctor:You can get a complete blood count and ESR done at any reputed laboratory.
Doctor:If they are significantly abnormal, we can treat it accordingly.

Doctor:Do you have any other query?

Doctor:Usually respiratory infections are associated with viruses (influenza or others).
Doctor:Rarely other bacteria's can cause.
User:ohh thanks docteor
