User:Hello again ,
Doctor:Hi again
User:sorry got disconnected
Doctor:So how can I help you today?
User:I have some red spots on my penis head and its itching , i travelled on the last weekend and came home and while cleaning myself noticed 2 red spots . After washing it went away with a few red spots but today there is itching
Doctor:What do you think is the cause?
User:when i went to urinate and noticed the penal head the spots have become more. i spoke to one of the doctors in Healthcare magic and he told to use candid b cream , wanted to consult further with a specialist
Doctor:Did something unusual happen while travelling?
Doctor:It can be anything like bathing in ocean, etc
Doctor:Any unexpected sexual exposure?
User:none doc , we went with family and am married for 1.5 yrs and use condom with my wife as we are delaying kids
Doctor:Did candid-b cream work?
User:no today only i chatted with another doctor
User:and am yet to use it
Doctor:Can you send me a photo of the lesions?
Doctor:Since it is hard to narrow the diagnosis just on discussion
Doctor:It may just be a heat rash
Doctor:It may be dermatitis
Doctor:Or it can be fungal infection
Doctor:For heat rash and dermatitis, simple measures work
Doctor:For fungal infection you need candid
Doctor:b component in candid b is steroidal
User:what is dermatitis
Doctor:It happens due to skin reacting to some irritant
Doctor:an example is diaper rash
Doctor:It is non-infectious
User:how can i send you a pic
Doctor:by email
Doctor:Address it to my name
User:will you be able to hold on doc
Doctor:i will wait
User:you want a close up on the penal head and any thing more
Doctor:that should suffice
User:sure thank you , please give me five to 10 mins and do hold on to this chat . you will recieve it from YYYY@YYYY
User:you there
User:i just sent the pic to you
Doctor:I'm still waiting for the pics
User:ok , did send it a few sec back
User:could it be due to allergy
User:hope you recieved it
Doctor:Yes I received it
Doctor:It seems like dermatitis
Doctor:I will suggest that you try milder medicine first
Doctor:I have one question before I suggest something
Doctor:Does your partner has some rash?
Doctor:Maybe yeast infection
User:will there be any symptoms
User:in her case
User:we have never had intercourse without condoms
Doctor:There will be discharge--maybe smelly
Doctor:So chance of transmission
Doctor:Though yeast infection is not considered sexually transmitted
Doctor:It may affect temporarily the male partners
Doctor:From the description and photographs it seems like dermatitis
Doctor:It may be allergic or from friction or from tight innerwears
Doctor:It may be worthwhile to try mild rash creams
User:i did use soap to wash the penal head (fiama d wills bathing gel ) to wash today and its become dry a bit i feel
Doctor:You can try aveeno cream
Doctor:It is meant for dry skin, itchyness etc
User:any tablet ?
Doctor:Tablets are not needed
Doctor:It should go away soon
User:how to apply this
Doctor:Till then also avoid tight innerwear
Doctor:Also avoid friction on the skin
Doctor:If this much does not work
Doctor:Then you can go for a mild steroidal cream
Doctor:Like hydrocortisone 1%
Doctor:Avoid keeping the area wet
Doctor:Diaper rash creams are also good as they contain zinc oxide
Doctor:and are good for quick healing of skin and are mild
Doctor:Avoid soaps
User:any recommendations on diaper rash creams
Doctor:There is one cream
Doctor:It is called as Diaper Rash Cream
Doctor:Thats the name
User:and we will get it in any medical store
Doctor:Also get urinalysis, microscopy done
Doctor:Aveeno and diaper rash cream
Doctor:You can get at any good store
Doctor:Hydrocortisone you will find at pharmacy
User:aveeno anti itch cream or moisturising
User:should i use both ?
User:aveeno + diaper rash
User:or only aveeno
Doctor:Both can be used
Doctor:During day you can just use aveeno
Doctor:For night time diaper rash cream
User:and how to apply , wash first and apply on the infected area ?
Doctor:its not infected area
Doctor:Its affected area
User:sorry my bad
Doctor:So any other question?
Doctor:Try getting in contact with a dermatologist, if it does not heal
User:doc , how many days should i try this for and what is the reason for urinalysis and microscopy
Doctor:For 3 days
Doctor:To rule infections like yeast infection, etc
Doctor:Also take fruits and vegetables
Doctor:Drink pure water and hygienic food
Doctor:Sometimes we bath in contaminated water while travelling

Doctor:Also I am usually available during evening hours
User:final one on the application part as well , i apply it and take the skin front again?
Doctor:I will advise to keep the area dry as much as possible

Doctor:Any other question?
Doctor:Are you there?
Doctor:Are you there?
