Have cold, fever, allergic. Are they common? - Online Doctor Chats
How are you?
follwed by fever
where are you based?
last time i consulted a doctor he said it my be due to allergies to dust or pollen
allergies are exceedingly common
due to the high humidity levels
There are a few things you can do to prevent this problem
but i m not exposed to much dust
still, the weather is like that
its a very common complaint
could it be the issue with my immune system
I dont think so
There are a few things I would want you to do
first is keep yourself warm
even if you're not feeling cold in office, wear a jacket when you enter and leave especially
Second, take steam inhalation twice a day
For this, boil a pot of water
Cover it with a towel and inhale the steam
Third, have tulsi and ginger tea
Both have important role for allergies
Fourth, keep your house and your workstation very clean
Its preferable to use a vacuum cleaner if you can esp at home
Also, wash your bed sheets in hot boiling water and change your pillow cases frequently
it leads to fever also is that normal ??
actually, what happens is that allergies are frequently complicated by infection
The infection leads to fever
Another important thing is to have citrus fruits like orange, mausambi
and maintaining a healthy lifestyle by eating on time and exercising regularly is also important
my sleeping habbit is kinda improper i get less sleep at night
You have a problem falling asleep or staying asleep?
staying asleep for long
i wake up like after every 3 4 hours
Is there something which is troubling you or are you under a lot of stress?
no not really
Do you exercise regularly?
yeah i go to gym like 4 days a week and workout for 45 mins
Do you generally feel well and happy?
yeah most of the time
The treatment involves drugs called benzodiazepines
These are prescription drugs and you would need to see your physician for that
do i need to undergo some tests before taking that drugs
They are generally safe
The only drawback is that people get addicted and find it difficult to stay asleep when we stop the drugs
i was treated for GBS like 5 years back could that be an issue
Thats why we avoid these drugs in general
Its not related to that
no i mean the cold and fever thing could that be related to GBS cause after that only it became frequent
GBS is an autoimmune disorder which is fully curable
It is not related to this
In very less percentage of cases, it will cause long term problems
oh ok thanks for the response doctor
Is there anything else I can hep you with?
no thanks a lot
Thanks for consulting me
Have a good day ahead
