I have a quick question on my dad's health
and had two episodes of hepatic encelopathy
he was hosptilazed both times
he wwas discharged from hospital yesterday
he is perfectly oriented now...
since today afternoon he is having slight fever
can he take paracetamol?
Paracetmol should be avoided
then how do we control the fever?
i mean crocin
No crocin is nothing but paracetmol
any other mediciene for his fever?
Take normal temp water, do a sponging once every 4 hours
he should prefer not to take any medicine further
His liver cannot tolerate any kind of toxicity
paracetmol completely metabolizes in the liver
so contraindicated here
thank u doctor
