Had a miscarriage, what could be the reason? - Online Doctor Chats
How can I help you today?
Last tiem I had a chat with one of teh doctors here. I had a miscarriage and she suggested me to wait for 3 months before I try again
I miscarried in the month of March
I met my gyno here and sahe said that we can try this month
A gap of 6 weeks after rubella vaccinaton is okie
I am confused now doctor
Why is it?
Should I wait before trying again?
What was the date of vaccination?
'coz the doctor I chatted with last time asked me to wait 3 months starting april
for the pregnancy
But some women may become weak due to heavy bleeding
If you feel you are ready then you can go for it.
Also doc is travel safe?
Are you there?
I commute to offiec daily by my company bus
Long distance travelling is not safe
The raods are not very good
Within a city is safe
yeah avoid bumpy road
I stay 13km away from office
But as i take company bus they follow a specified route
But lifting furniture and moving to a new apartment is also not recommended
I still don't know the reason for my miscarriage
You may want to inform the driver that you may be pregnant and to drive carefully
so i am worried a little
yaa...but they usually drive properly for 1-2 days and then again bk like before
Mostly nature selects a few fetuses and lets go of other
But do not give up hope
I am taking mulivitamins and flaxseed oil tabs
Take other types of vehicles for a ride
i have an appointment tomorrow
Avoid flaxseed oil
It has some bad side-effects
Yes you may start folic acid
okie..any reason why that would have been prescribed?
any other medicine would you suggest?
That is not a medicine
Why was that prescribed
What symptoms you were having?
she said it's a supplemet and I am a vegeterian
these were prescribed after miscarriage
Google for its side-effects and you will know
doc will travel be a prob?
i mean to office?
It may be if it is too bumpy
Ask for your partner for a ride
its not all throughout
but at some streatch where some work is happening
Well bumpy rides should be avoided
Consider alternate options
what would you suggest?
Best is ac car with your partner at the driver seat
is it not safe even after 12 weeks? the bus
yaa..but our work loactaions are diifferent
Actually pregnancies can be uncomfortable in the first place
On top of that if you are going on a bumpy road, it increases anxiety to the mother along with jerks to the baby
i am not sure what wrong with me..'coz few of my frnds have taken teh company bus and everything was fine
I understand what you mean
There may be other unknown factors too
also doc I would want to know if climbing stairs is fine after 7 months
Depends on the number of stairs you have to climb
I recommend that you discuss with your partner your concerns
I am sure he will understand and you both will be able to find a way out.
i want to ahve the delivery at my mom's place
and thats whay i ahve specified after 7 months
It is normal for you to take precautions
Here i stay in GF
Well you may not be able to travel after becoming pregnant
but air lines allow travel upto 7th month
Yes they do
Air travel is considered safe
but then you said i will not be able to travel?
Yes since already had a miscarriage, your gynecologist may advise you against it.
Any other questions here?
