User:hello have a question to a medical professional specialty obgyn
Doctor:Please proceed with the query.
User:my wife had a frozen embryos transfer 9 days ago
User:and until now she basicly has almost no symptoms except some mild cramps ,and a little tired from time to time she is 27 years lod both are healthy 2 frozen embryos was transfered
Doctor:it is only 9 days
Doctor:so symptoms are unlikely to be seen now
User:the fresh cycle could not been done becase she head the some type of syndrome i think it's called ohss,so it was cancelled, and after 2 weeks of break and injection they did the frozen transfer, and untill now she still getting injections
Doctor:Is this the first time she has got embryo transfer
User:so from your professional opinion, taking into consideration, that very little symptoms, continuation of injection do you think, that she will get pregnant at this time?
User:also she decide it to cheat, and took the home pregnancy test on 7 day,it was negative
Doctor:is this the first time
User:frozen yes
Doctor:ok what complications did she she have that
prevented her to get pregnant
Doctor:any uterine problems
User:i decide it to talk to a medical professional onle even, that she has to go tomorrow on her 10th day for the test
User:unknow reasons both of us are healthy
Doctor:ok it will take another 15 days to 21 days for the test to be positive
Doctor:so do not worry, age is also on her side
Doctor:the procedure will work out
User:so you believe, that the doctor from the center who told us to return for the pregnancy test on the 10th day is basicly useless?
Doctor:no, there are possibilties he wanted you to come for a check up
Doctor:she has done the test too early
Doctor:Sometimes due to certain reasons there might be expulsion of foetus
Doctor:so that is reason he would have called you
Doctor:does she have any bleeding?
User:dont get me wrong, but at the date of transfer we were told to come on the 10th day for blood pregnancy test, that's what confusing us a bid, because a lot of online forums are saying 12-14 days, but again we were told also, that every clinic/center works differnt
Doctor:yes not only clinic there will be variations in human conception
Doctor:it will vary differently
Doctor:so to be on safer side we say 15 days
User:no bleeding, like i said before just mild cramps, and a little tired from time to time not at all times. and untill now she still gets progestirone injections, and suppositoriums
Doctor:yes, that is true.she is under proper medications
Doctor:those will cause these symtoms
Doctor:take the test on the date told by your doctor
Doctor:but if it is negative
Doctor:you can still do a repeat tets
Doctor:by 1 week again
Doctor:because the result dates can vary
User:so even with almost no symptoms, and based, that those symptoms due to meds, taking her age, meds treatment do you think, that she has a good chance to become pregnant at this time, and it may show on the 10th day we transfered 2 frozen embryos even the doctor recommended only 1
Doctor:yes she definitely has.The cramps itself can be due to pregnancy.Cramps will be seen in early pregnancy
User:because we are concerned as the doctor said,if the test will be negative,he wants her to stop the injections, so if this is going to be the case, and we will stop it,it wont effect the pregnancy test results in 1 week later?
Doctor:I feel you are on the right treatment, and it will definitely work out.Since her medical history seems to be fine
Doctor:request him to continue for another week
Doctor:with the medications
User:i got it so let's hope for the good news tomorrow,
Doctor:yes, it will be positive, just make her feel optimistic about the whole thing too
