Weight of an individual is determined and influenced by many factors of which the type of diet consumed, the occupation and exercise are the most important ones.
Though there are various options to reduce weight, diet and exercises are the most reliable and healthy method as it brings about a smooth transition.
I would suggest you to involve in cardioexercise such as brisk walking, jogging, swimming, cycling or even thread mill half an hour to one hour a day for 5 days a week.
These exercise burn excess calories and help you lose weight.
Along with dietary changes is recommended.
Diet should include plenty of fibre and low fat food.
Along with plenty of water.
In brief, start your day with a glass of water mixed with honey as you wake up.
Breakfast at about 8-9. It should be filling too.
Oats, poori, dosa (2 number), idli (2 number), etc. can be part of your breakfast.
Avoid coconut chutney. Prefer sambar or tomato chutney.
Have a light snack at your office. Preferably avoid coffee / tea.
Lunch should contain not more than one bowl of rice. Take plenty of vegetables. Avoid papad / pickle. Avoid dressed salads.
Followed by late evening snacks. Prefer fruits here.
Dinner should be an hour or two before you get to bed.
Avoid rice products here. Try roti/chapathi with vegetables.
