Doctor :   hi
Doctor :   Dr.XXX here.
User :   Hi,I have an ECG question. Is a PR interval of 0.25 (@ 63 bpm) something to be concerned about?
Doctor :   do you have any symptoms at present?
User :   no
Doctor :   it is a bit raised, but at 63 beats it is considered to be normal
Doctor :   is there any other medical conditions associated?
User :   no, just did a heart screening in my family
Doctor :   PR interval is usually increased in anemia, thyroid affections, left heart enlargement
Doctor :   but such minor increase may not signify anything if you are asymptomatic
Doctor :   It seems you have moved out of the chat window. Please log in back if you have medical queries
User :   ok
Doctor :   hi
User :   Yes, I tried to send you the ECG but it didn't work
Doctor :   are you back?
Doctor :   please proceed
Doctor :   you can send the ECG to YYYY@YYYY
Doctor :   please tell if you have sent it for me to check on it.
Doctor :   address it to DR. XXXXXXXX (in subject line)
User :   ok, just sent
User :   but with "ECG" in subject line
Doctor :   ok. please give me a few moments to check on it
Doctor :   I just have seen it
Doctor :   it looks normal
Doctor :   the PR interval minor increase suggests probable normal variant especially in absence of any other symptoms
User :   ok, thanks for the feedback
Doctor :   if you are bothered about it, then get a baseline check done
Doctor :   with getting thyroid levels and hemogram tested
User :   ok
Doctor :   it will show if any of these are associated with increased PR interval
Doctor :   if you are having no other symptoms or do not develop any other symptoms in next 2-5 days, then you can relax
Doctor :   proceed with getting repeat ECG done after 3 days, to see if similar results are found
Doctor :   or it shows normal
Doctor :   have you followed what I have said?
User :   ok
User :   yes I understand
Doctor :   is there anything else you would like to ask me?
User :   no, thanks very much
Doctor :   thanks for consulting me. bye for now.
